How do I book a property?
Once you decide on the unit you would like to stay in and your dates are confirmed, send us an email to stay@checkedinvictoria.com so we can send you the booking form and the payment link. For your convenience, once the completed form and payment are received you will be sent a final confirmation of your booking.
How do I pay?
We accept all major credit cards except American Express. For your convenience, if you do online banking with a Canadian bank you can also pay via Interac/E transfer
Do I pay a deposit?
In order to hold a reservation in our system you will need to pay a $1000 deposit which will hold your dates and then be transferred as a refundable damage deposit.
When is my remaining balance due?
Balance payment is due 30 days prior to your arrival date.
Will my unit be guaranteed to me?
Your deposit guarantees that the unit will be available for you. Your 100% payment secures the rental completely.
How do I get there?
About two weeks prior to your booking date you will be sent the final arrival instructions.
How will I gain access to my rental?
We have written comprehensive access instructions for each unit and these will be sent to you two weeks prior to your booking arrival date.
Do I need insurance?
We always suggest purchasing Trip cancellation/interruption insurance. You can do this through your local travel agency. Some credit cards offer this protection if you have paid for the trip with that card. You will need to phone them and check to see if this coverage is available to you.
Can I cancel my reservation?
You can cancel your reservation in full and get a full refund, minus a $150 cancellation fee, up until 30 days prior to your arrival. When you are within 30 days of arrival your rental fee becomes 100% non refundable.
Can I bring my pet?
We have a couple of units that can offer accommodations for your pet.
Is the rental family friendly?
All our units are very family friendly. We supply a play pen and booster seat at all our units.
Is parking included?
Most of our units include parking, please enquire.
Will WiFi be available?
All our unit include free wifi
Do I pay for local calls?
All our units with land lines have free local calling.
What do I need to bring?
You only need to bring your personal items. We have hair dryers, salt, pepper, oil, and complimentary hand soap, shampoo and conditioner for your first shower! As well all the bedding and linens are there for the extra sofa bed and play pen.
