Comfy, Cozy & Super Clean
It was a delightfulyl bright and spacious condo. We had a larger group and we were able to enjoy a good visit all together. The place was super clean and quiet. All the adults were able to sleep in King size beds which were super comfy. The location was perfect, so close to downtown and all amenities. -
Sunrise
The sunrise in the morning from the upstairs bedroom was awesome! It was amazing to wake to! -
Clean, convenient, well stocked kitchen!
Gorge townhouse was a great place to stay for the week we were in Victoria. We were in town for a sports event and it housed all 7 of us comfortably. It was clean, well maintained, ready when we arrived, had a awesomely stocked kitchen and the unit was consistent with its write up. It was easy to access and instructions for use of the unit were detailed and complete. Deidre answered all questions promptly and even had the unit set up bed wise for our late arrival. Unfortunately we did not do much sight seeing or eating out, but recommended grocery stores were used. The unit does not have a bbq as indicated in its write up, but other than that everything was as reported. Would highly recommend this property to a friend or relative. -
It was great. Great location. Lots of space.
It was a nice quiet location, in the heart of everything with a comfortable arrangement. -
Quiet and nice size for family
This property was nice and quiet, but a bit out of the way. You need a vehicle if staying at this condo as there are no nice restaurants or cafes within walking distance. We’ve stayed at a number of vacation rentals and find that it is the little things that count. Unfortunately there were a number of little things that need attending to in this condo. The coffee maker needs to be replaced. It did not have a carafe that fit, and someone had to press a cup up to the unit to get a badly brewed cup of coffee. We expected soap, shampoo and conditioner would be supplied in bathroom, but there only one little bottle of shampoo/conditioner in the bathroom for 5 people over 3 days. The 2 bedrooms had bedside tables, but only a lamp on one of the tables, so only one person was able to read at night. There was a need for more light fixtures and bulbs needed to be replaced in the unit (bathroom, laundry room). The place needs a little TLC in terms of paint and dent repairs, and could do with a little maintenance so that bathroom fans work, etc. You can access the Galloping Goose trail a few blocks down the road, so if you have bikes, this location is accessible to a number of great Victoria destinations. We’d return if we could start our day off with a good cup of coffee!Manager response: I am glad to hear you will come back if we get a new coffee maker! So, yes, not sure what happened to the coffee maker, but it was only a few months old and I have replaced it now. Thanks for the note about more light needed in the bedroom too, I have new ones now and will send you a photo. Hope to see you next time.

Spacious, Comfortable Location
This unit is an excellent option for Victoria. Its location is right on the Gorge with lovely walks, a grocery story quite nearby, close to downtown with excellent restaurants. (We would highly recommend Cafe Brio and El Terrazzo.) The interior is spacious, especially the upstairs master bedroom connected to a den/office that provides privacy and “retreat” space. The balconies are great, and the owners are available and helpful. We would return!Recommended for: Age 55+, Sightseeing, Families with teenagers
Manager response: Hi Bobby, Glad you enjoyed your trip to Victoria! Those are good restaurant suggestions and will add those to my Favorites list too. Deidre

A beautiful and convenient location
We loved the space, the cleanliness and the location. The web pictures did not do the house full justice. The views from the patio were wonderful! The house had everything we needed and was well maintained. The walks along the gorge were especially enjoyable. We could walk downtown and take in all the attractions there. The only small drawback was the one shower which was a bit limiting for a group of 6. We would happily recommend this property to anyone. -
Wonderful stay In Victoria
Appartement très confortable et bien équipe. Litterie impeccable. Magnifique vue depuis le patio. -
Good for a family vacation
This place was very nicely situated on the Gorge. The balcony is a fantastic size with a lovely view of the water and city. I really enjoyed the size, as my kids needed space to run around. It was a nicely updated space too. The only downside was the beds are not very comfortable. Definitely not a Westin dream bed or anything…very basic…even slightly uncomfortable. If you don’t care about bed comfort, this is the place for you and your family. The other downside was the curtain rods would fall off the hooks when I went to open them, along with the towel bar and toilet paper holder. These are minor things that I am sure the owner will fix. It was just a little annoying to have these things in poor condition when I stayed there.
