Good inner city location, seemed like a very safe building.
Furniture and decor are a bit dated, needs a de-clutter and new dish ware, but I understand rental places get run down, so just needs a once over to organize the items in the unit. (Would be easier to keep clean that way)
Rental company was very friendly and easy to communicate with.

This place was way better than expected. We really enjoyed how close it was to everything and how clean the place was. While we had a blast while in Vancouver and this place served as the perfect setting for launch those adventures. It’s charming downtown location was really fun, but I would recommend bringing earplugs to muffle some of the street noise at night.

Location location location! Close to everything in Victoria. Resturants, shops, bars, inner harbour, China Town. No need for a car when you stay at this place. Great terrace to have drinks in the afternoon and people watch.

We had a lovely stay at this location. The best parts were the location, patio and high ceilings! Would recommend for anyone who travels to Victoria in a larger group! Only downside were the seagulls sure like to make their presence known at 5AM!

Very central location in Chinatown - lots to do within walking distance. Can be loud as it is a busy street but nothing ear plugs can't fix. Secure location with gated entrance. Spacious for our group of 6.
Bed situation: 2 bedrooms - 1 king bed in one, 2 single beds in the other. 1 roll away single bed and couch in living room.
Lots of extra linens, plus access to washer/dryer and a patio. Having two bathrooms was a nice plus.
Host was very responsive and made sure that we were doing well and checked in OK. I appreciated the binder with recommendations.

Important note is that the self check-in to pick up keys is located several blocks away from the Airbnb (approx 13 min walk), which is a bit of a hassle if travelling with luggage/children/seniors but instructions are clear. Another option is to meet someone for the keys (requires scheduling ahead of time). The check-in options are made using a form the company sends separately to your email.

Nice place, close to everything, very clean. Getting in was a bit of a pain with the keybox, but but that's my own fault, they offered to have someone come to the residence and welcome us. I chose to use the keybox instead 🙂

Perfect location but can be loud at night on the street. Very spacious, we really enjoyed our time there as a group of 7.

The place was complicated to access. I would recommend scheduling the in person check in ahead of time. The area was really nice. Place was really clean. No toiletries included

Loved the high ceilings, exposed beams, brick walls and big windows. Perfect location for exploring Victoria. Comfortable beds, everything clean, great kitchen set-up. (Some of the other reviews mention excessive street noise, but this was not our experience.) We will definitely return!

We had a really great stay! The location was awesome and the space suited our group great. The only downside was the parking spot. It’s a pretty tight spot so ideal for smaller cars but we had a truck because my partner was in a race with a lot of equipment. Our morning checking out felt rushed because a neighbour told us we had to move our truck even though we were in the correct spot and was parked within the lines. Just be aware the parking spot is tight.

We also chose the self check in option since we were not sure about our arrival time. It’s important to note that the lock box to retrieve the key is a bit of a walk away. This proved to be difficult with all the equipment we had when we arrived but I did find it okay. Just something to be aware of if you choose this option.

We had a great stay in this Condo! There were 6 of us staying in the unit and there was plenty of space. A little more attention could be given to the patio to make it a little more inviting but other than that, it was great. We had other family members renting a few condos in the building which worked out very well. The location is fantastic!!! We would absolutely rent this unit again! Thank you!!!

We had a great stay at Old Town Flats. It suited our group. The location worked well for us. The building was quiet and we appreciated that it felt very secure.We made use of the washer and dryer and kitchen appliances. Having 2 bathrooms was convientant for our family getting ready in the morning. We enjoyed the patio! We toured, shopped and enjoyed the close proximity to restaurants for dinner, with a quick walk home after. If was nice to have a private spot reserved in the parkade, to tour away from town and come back too. We used the fans provided and opened the widows over night as it was quite hot during our visit. That worked well. We will plan to return!Thank you!!

We really enjoyed our stay in Victoria. The place was exactly as described, in a great location in the heart of downtown. Walking distance to all of the shopping, restaurants and sights. The place was spacious and clean.

Location can’t beat! Nicely furnished with comfort in mind. Well equipped kitchen if you want to cook but there are lots of great restaurants close by too. Great communication and easy to access. Parking included in gated garage is a real plus.

Great location in the middle of everything. Lots of restaurants nearby. John's Place is great for breakfast, and just down the street. The parking space was a real plus, though finding the entrance to the garage the first time was a bit tricky. The woman who met us was very helpful.

Know that you are right over a busy street which can be noisy. With the windows open, the chirping from the pedestrian light was most annoying. It's the signal for visually impaired people to cross. The next day it was cooler, and we closed the windows, and then could barely hear the noise.

I use AIRBNB because I like a simple process. Adding another company with all of their paperwork is not what I was expecting, and I will avoid that in the future. All that being said, we enjoyed our stay tremendously, and would recommend this place if people know what to expect.

We had a great stay at the Old Town Flats. The unit is spacious and had all amenities that we needed. The Aircon towers were appreciated. The building is located in a very central area so we had no trouble getting to all the places in Victoria that we wanted to visit.

The apartment was very clean and in a fantastic location. Team CIVV provided everything you would need for a pleasant stay. My favorite part was the rooftop balcony. Thank you for providing just a wonderful place for our time in Victoria.

This air-bnb is sufficient, but a couple things made me not recommend it. They make you sign a waiver, outside of the airbnb platform, that you have to agree to in order to get to check in. Where you sign you take on the liability of the costs of them coming after you legally if they choose to, for any damage. Not that we would ever cause something, but it still was odd to me. I'm new to air-bnb and this was the first thing that made me uncomfortable, signing a waiver outside of the platform. Second, the bedrooms are small and uncomfortable, unless there are just 2 of you in the king bed.

We had someone in a wheelchair trying to use the primary bedroom, and there was no space for the wheelchair to get beside the bed because the room was so small. The second bedroom is tiny, with 2 single beds, that do not equate to a king when put together, they are much shorter and very uncomfortable. Plus it doesn't actually fit a cot in that second bedroom and a baby pack-and play. You'd have to put the cot and the pack and play in the living room, in a make-shift way. Just seems crammed. The amenities are dated and used, if you care.

The staff are very responsive and patient and you can get a hold of them generally speaking, easily. The location is amazing to walk everywhere.

"Fantastic stay"

I had a fantastic stay there. It is a wonderful, character rich place with lots of extra touches. All the conveniences and then some were included. It’s a lot bigger than I expected and had lots of seating for guests and dining. You can’t beat the patio. It’s massive with great views of downtown life. Perfect place to watch the sunrise and sunset. I didn’t find it noisy at night after the traffic dies down. I would highly recommend this place. Great value for the money. I wish I could have stayed longer.

Deidre prompt and professional. Directions, clear and concise. Property as advertised. More than adequate amenities. Only issue would be the street noise off the master ... Solved that by plugging in to Songza with the headphones. Safe and secure building. U/G parking a bonus. We walked everywhere. Will recommend to family and friends. Very central. Book, you won't be disappointed.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The unit is clean, comfortable and beautifully furnished with thoughtful attention to detail. Great people-watching from the private patio. Easy walk to fun shopping, restaurants & coffee shops. Relatively quiet for sleeping, although city noises make for an early wake-up! The second bedroom has no ventilation so we turned on fans the second night. There were a few glitches with check-in but hopefully those can be worked out in the future. We would definitely stay here again. A great base for exploring Victoria.

Wonderful spot, central to shopping, restaurants, theatre, harbour and much more.Dallas Road and the B.C. Museum are not far. The amenities in the suite are great. Large patio deck and underground secure parking.

My mother and I just spent a long weekend in the condo and had a wonderful stay. We met other family from Seattle in Victoria and had plenty of space for visiting for all of us and we were all walking distance from each other. The loft was beautiful and comfortable. The security of the building is first class. I was worried about other reviews commenting on the noise levels but the noise was your basic bus and other vehicles that you would expect in a downtown location; there was not any rowdy pub/bar patrons having a hayday at 2am. Over the years my husband and I have rented many places off of VRBO and this one is at the top of the list for being equipped with everything one would need in a household. Diedre was exceptional and there is not enough I can say about the level of customer service she provided us. You will not be disappointed in this rental.

Recommended for: People with Disabilities, Families with Young Children, Sightseeing, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Adventure Seekers, Age 55+, Romantic Getaway, Families with Teenagers.

This apartment is excellent in its decor, cleanliness, safety and great location. I am impressed with the brick wall design and the whole ambience was cozy and comfortable. The apartment has 2 retractable sofa chairs and they were great! A laptop too! There were 4 of is but it can accommodate 5-6 people. I love the fully equiped kitchen. Even the little things were provided eg. Dish liquids, tablets, sponges, clothes detergent, sugar, salt, pepper etc, which made things easier for short stays. As it's facing the street, perhaps light sleepers may find it a little noisy at night but I was fine with it. It's just so convenient as many good cafes eg. Murchies and many good ones opened early and within walking distance. Chinatown is just a street down. We had Dim Sum! A free car park just downstairs was allocated and this is a plus. Overall, we had a great stay and will definitely book to stay again when we visit Victoria. Thumbs up for Old Town Flats.

Location is amazing, beautifully decorated, everything you need within walking distance. However, as a result of awesome location we found the master bedroom to be very loud at night - picked up some earplugs for night 2 and that did the trick!

The Old Town Flats is such an awesome place to stay in downtown Victoria! We had such an amazing time. The directions to the place were easy to follow. There is secure, covered parking waiting for you when you arrive. The place is decorated so beautifully and everything was so nice. The view onto bustling Johnson street was fantastic! My husband and I enjoyed a glass of wine on the patio and people watched. The condo is centrally located, a quick walk to the inner harbour, shopping and all the best restaurants. Deidre was awesome to deal with and provides lots of info on the area in a binder near the door of the condo. We loved the restaurant recommendations. The beds were super comfy and the living room was an perfect place to put our feet up and chill. We loved every minute of our time spent at Old Town Flats! We will definitely be back and will recommend it to anyone who asks.

Opening the door I was amazed at the character and some what English charm the open plan rental had. With comfortable beds, fresh white towels and a rather large patio looking out onto the streets of Victoria! I could even see the water at the end. I did not need to rent a car as everything is within walking distance. Highly recommend this unit any time of the year as my stay was amazing. Deidre was a pleasure to deal with and can not wait to come back.
