We love being in Victoria but have realised that there are superior locations which will suit us better next time.

Our stay was fantastic! The CIVV communication was perfect. They were immediately responsive, kind and thoughtful. We sure appreciated everything.
We loved our stay in the city. It was very walkable location. Just right for our trip. The rooftop deck was peaceful and a lovely place for our morning coffee. The kids enjoyed watching the bridge rise for boats, from the living room.

We enjoyed our stay here. The place is exactly as described, we liked how it was a very central location and could walk anywhere (and appreciated the free parking close by). The apartment is very comfortable and you get an interesting view of the bridge.

Great location - easily walkable to all the main attractions - clean modern space - proactive and responsive hosts with clear instructions; bright large windows - darker pull-down shades in the bedroom were essential and the AC and number room fans were very useful during the hot days;

a great location for a small group, we were close to everything we wanted to do and enjoyed the view.

Gorgeous views, floor to ceiling windows, convenient location, accessible to numerous restaurants and downtown activities.

Condo is beautiful and well taken care of, perfect for 4-5 adults.

Downsides include transients under the bridge right next door and obtaining access key at a different location (across town).

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to visiting this place again in the future!

Stunning view of the inner harbour! Great location for shopping, dining and sightseeing. Suite is modern and had everything we needed. We had a great time!

This unit was everything we needed for our getaway with friends. Spacious, clean, walkable to local shops and the harbour and just a great place in general.
It is pretty close to the Johnston St draw bridge which can be both a blessing and a curse. It’s a gorgeous place to see people and watch the seals in the water but also very open for them to see in. Some people commented on the amount of noise from the street but that did not bother any of us at all.
The only thing I think would be better is if the second bedroom had an actual bed instead of a Murphy’s bed.
I would totally recommend this place to anyone.

Con: the following things are not bad, can definitely improve for future.
1. Check in/out is complicated / not convenient. I can either request for someone to drop off a key (not an option for me as I wasn't sure about my arrival time), or go to a lockbox elsewhere to pick up. We drove so it was annoying but still ok. Just imagine that you arrive with luggage with no car, and you will have to walk all the way with luggage in hand to do this. We also had to return the key to the same place when check out. Smart lock would have solved this easily.
2. Place was mostly clean but pullout couch was dirty inside (had chips, skittles, etc). Also did not have enough pillows for the couch guests

Great place and the host is amazing.

If a quiet location is what you’re looking for this isn’t it. The unit is located level to the bridge and there is a lot of pedestrian and traffic noise. Also, the area under the bridge right outside of the patio attracts local teens and young adults who like to hang out and drink, play loud music, and have loud conversations every evening. Additionally, there is no A/C or central circulation fan, and only three tiny windows in the whole unit that don’t let in much air, so if you’re there in the summer and it gets stuffy you have to keep the patio door open that brings in the fresh air…and the noise.

Otherwise it’s in a good location for accessing downtown Victoria where there is plenty of dining and shopping options. The building is secure as you need the fob to enter, and the parking is nearby. There was no easy place near the building to drop off the luggage so be prepared to walk a couple of blocks with your bags.

Great location within walking distance to the ferry terminal, downtown, and many shops/restaurants. As others have mentioned, this condo is a bit of a fishbowl with anyone walking across the adjacent bridge able to look in when the blinds are open. If you don’t take issue with that, the place itself was well kept and comfortable.

Great location, central to everything downtown. The space is a bit small for the 6 of us, but was still comfortable. The views out the window were great too, we could watch the sunset from the suite!

We loved everything about Lookout Point!!! It’s within walking distance of a lot of shops, restaurants, Government Street, Fan Tan Alley, The Empress, etc. We had a great girls trip and would highly recommend.

A great location on the water right next to the bridge and Chinatown. Very quiet and rooms have darkening blinds. Lots of kitchen leftovers from prior guests - coffee, spices etc. No problem parking but could be an issue during the workday or more touristed time. Don’t moss the view from the terrace on the too of the building!

Best location for water views, restaurants and walkability.
Chinatown is literally across the street.
Free parking with a pass card is at an open lot a half block away which is somewhat inconvenient as is the method for obtaining the unit keys at a Greek restaurant 1 km away requiring the opening of a safe attached to a nearly hidden staircase and then an inner keybox so try to do that before dark.
If you wish to avoid all that then there’s an additional fee to have someone meet you at the Airbnb with keys in hand but we figured it out for ourselves.
The unit is clean and stocked with what you need.
Two full bathrooms were a blessing and the water pressure is excellent.
I couldn’t figure out how to get the bedroom TV to work but I wasn’t in Victoria to watch television anyways.
The complex has an adequate gym available for a workout and requires a bit of sleuthing to find the door to it.
A rooftop lounge is also onsite for guests to utilize and the views are amazing despite the ongoing construction next door.
I definitely recommend this Airbnb despite the quirks mentioned and would certainly stay there again.

if you want to be right in the heart of the best of Victoria, stay here. Modern, comfortable with everything at your doorstep. Looking for a harbour taxi? It is one block from you. How about shopping at the best boutiques and stores Victoria has to offer? At your doorstep on lower Johnson. Loved every moment. Thank you!

Can’t beat the location!! Other reviews made me wonder what the parking situation was, but it’s totally fine, very short walk to the parking lot. Gorgeous views. Would book again!

It is very modern, clean and bright. Location is fantastic. It is downtown and near the bridge so it can be a bit noisy I recommend keeping your window closed at night. The only downside is the parking is down the street in a public parking area which they give you a pass for but if there are no spots you are out of luck. Overall we had a great visit.

Great stay!

This was the perfect spot for a girls weekend. The unit was a great size for 3 people. It was clean and had everything we needed. The location was walking distance to everything. Would come back again!

Fantastic place right in the heart of downtown. The views are amazing, the place is well equipped, clean and comfortable. We loved watching the action on the water and bridge. We hope to return!

It is a nice place to stay, the location and view are excellent.

We recently spent a weekend at Lookout Point. The condo was amazing, location was incredible. We were able to walk everywhere and spend the days exploring. The view from both inside and on the patio was great, we could watch otters play in the water. We watched baby Canadian geese learn to swim. We enjoyed people watching all the foot traffic on the bridge. The check in, and check out process were the easiest we have ever experienced. We will definitely be back to stay!
