Favourite Things To Do

British High Tea

High tea at the Empress or for a more non-touristy spot try the White Heather Tea Room

Royal BC Museum

Walk along Dallas Road and out to the breakwater, stop at Cloverpoint to watch the kite surfers and watch the ferries go by. This is my favorite spot with a coffee on a windy day.

Beacon Hill park for lovely gardens with an excellent kids park and petting zoo. Don’t miss the goat run at 10am every morning!

Take the Harbour Ferries

Walk, roller blade, run, bike the Galloping Goose trail system, just steps from your door.

Kayak and biking, so many great spots in the Victoria area
Sooke Potholes for a beautiful drive and then a fun spot to swim in the cold river with a spa-like dry off on the hot river rocks. Take a picnic and spend the day….it is a locals favorite!

Drive to Sidney, great shops and treats, and the Shaw Discovery Center. Don’t miss the Sidney Bakery for the best jelly donuts in Victoria area. The Toast coffee shop is a great spot for lunch or if you are there around dinner time, and like yummy Chinese food, go to the Good Fortune just off main street.
