• Cleaning: A one-time $390 cleaning fee applies at booking. Optional weekly or bi-weekly professional cleaning can also be arranged on an hourly basis.
• Booking Rates: As a Canadian company, we provide transparent breakdowns in both CAD and USD before confirmation. We accept all major credit cards except American Express.

Important Policies and Notes

• BC Rental Regulations: Effective May 1, 2024, the minimum stay in British Columbia is 90 days. Rates shown are based on 12-month stays, but custom quotes for other lengths of stay are available upon request.
• Smoke-Free Environment: A $500 bylaw fine applies for smoking or vaping (including marijuana) anywhere in the unit or building.
• Check-In: Detailed property and check-in instructions will be sent to you by CheckedIn prior to arrival.
• Cancellation Policy: We recommend purchasing trip cancellation insurance. Reservations are refundable (less a $175 fee) until 30 days before travel, after which they become 100% nonrefundable. Multi-month stays require a 30-day written notice for departure.

Cancellation Policy

If you would like to confirm the stay, it will require a $500 deposit for 1 and 2-bedroom apartments or $1000 for 3 bedrooms or more, which will then be applied as the damage deposit. Upon check-out, the damage deposit will be refunded within 14 business days if no damage has occurred to the unit. If there is damage to the unit, you will be notified via email.

Your stay is fully refundable if cancelled before 30 days of arrival, with a $175.00 administrative fee. The balance of your deposit will be refunded via e-transfer to a Canadian Bank Account or to the same credit card on file. Please note there is a 4.75% credit card surcharge applicable if your refund is to a credit card.

If you need to cancel, the non-refundable period starts when you are within 30 days of your check-in date. Date changes are free, subject to availability and any differing rates. Monthly rent payments are due 30 days ahead of the upcoming month. Any cancellations need to be made in writing and sent to stay@checkedinvictoria.com.

Additional Terms and House Rules:

1. A license to occupy agreement is mandatory to be signed as soon as the reservation is confirmed.
2. A Damage Deposit is required to be paid once the reservation is confirmed. It is refundable upon checkout if no damage has occurred to the unit/house.
3. If your stay is more than 30 days, there will a mid-stay cleaning fee added after every 30 days.
4. Please note you must be 25 years or older to make a reservation.
5. All our properties have a $500 bylaw fine for smoking within the unit and the building. This includes vaping and marijuana.

Have to get the key from another place that is 15 mins away, no flexibility.
Check in was late - I have to wait for 50 mins (4:35pm final check in time), as I get in 15 mins early from their guaranteed check in time of 4pm. No prior message was sent to me that they are going to be late and when I send them message they say the cleaner is still cleaning. After getting the key, then still need to drive to the actual location of the unit...

This guest was rude and abusive from the very start and in hindsight wish we had refused his booking. We worked very hard to accommodate his last minute booking and sadly could not offer a personal check in. The cleaner was 35 min late getting the keys to him and to offered him a late check out for the inconvenience. The key pick up in 1.4 KM from the property and for security purposes we do not keep the key on location.

We need to remember that this type of person is not the normal guest we deal with. Very sad to have come in contact with Ka Ki Chan.

We had a great stay at the harbour view. Our place was clean, organized and had a nice view. As we were there during hotter weather and there was no A/C, we wanted to open the windows to let the breeze in, unfortunately most of the windows were missing screens.
Otherwise a great place and we would stay there again.

We had a fantastic stay. Our group of 5 fit comfortably in the unit. The beds were comfy and the unit had pretty much everything you need for a getaway. You can't beat the location being only a 5 minute walk from the downtown core, but out of the city slightly so you're not dealing with the late night life noises. The communication from the team was great and very helpful as we had a bit of trouble with the check in station when we first arrived at the unit. We got it all figured out with no issues and had a wonderful week long stay. The kitchen is supplied with some bare essentials and everything was clean amd welcoming. I would highly suggest booking again if I come to Victoria with another large group.

Beautiful place in a great location, nice walking distance to the harbour. We caught sone wonderful sunsets during our evening walks near the area.
The place isn't air-conditioned though and it got very warm during the night even with the fans on.
Host was very accomodating and was very quick to reply, it made communication easy.
Very accurate instructions for check-in and check-out.

We truly enjoyed our time in this condo for our Victoria visit.

Pros: Comfy beds, cleanliness, ease of check-in, well-stocked kitchen, location! We also really appreciated the early check-in.

Cons: Nothing really, other than we were a little confused by the function of the fireplace.

I hope to visit Victoria again and would definitely stay here again!

We had a great stay in Victoria while visiting for a conference at the Delta. The location was perfect as it was right next door. It was also an easy walk across the bridge to downtown or a very short car ride.

There was plenty of room for 4 adults and one child and the condo was well equipped with everything you'd need.

We really appreciated being able to check in early on our arrival date. Communication was quick, since it's managed by a company you might not always be talking with the same person but this wasn't an issue.

Would stay here again and recommend to others.

We had a wonderful stay in Victoria in this beautiful condo. It's in a quiet location but close and within easy walking distance to downtown Victoria, restaurants, harbor and main attractions. The condo is spacious and beautifully decorated, just like the photos. It was very clean and well equipped with anything you might need. The leather recliners and the beds were awesome and very comfortable. It was nice to have a king size bed and choice of king or twin beds. The twin beds were ready for us when we got there and the pull out sofa bed was comfortable, which is often not the case. Dierdre was attentive and prompt in answering any emails, very accommodating and gave us detailed instructions and recommendations for everything. She was also kind enough to send us a flash drive we left in the unit. I would highly recommend this condo to anyone visiting Victoria and hope to return and stay there again.

You have...great location..walkway on water right there. Close to grocery store and 3 min to down town. Deck with view. Love that master has tv in bedroom. With 2full bathrooms and shower. Kitchen set up is great. Thrilled with our stay. Hope to stay again.

Great location close to downtown but away from hustle and bussell. Secure building and facility is just as it is advertised. Stayed for over a month and facility met all our expectations. Clean and well kept building. Deidre and David responded quickly and professionally to any of our enquiries. Great hosts. Thanks again and we will definitely come back again. This is a great choice of facility and such great people to deal with.

We loved every minute of our stay...it was spotless, comfortable and close to shopping, restaurants and the inner harbour. Deidre was excellent to deal with and she went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. We will definitely stay here again for our next Victoria get away.

Awesome location! We could walk to downtown, enjoy the nightlife and walk back within minutes. The beds were comfy and the view was great! Deidre was wonderful to deal with. I can't wait to stay again.

What a great condo! Tons of room for our family of 6, all the things we could need and close to everything. The condo was clean and bright, with a great view from the master. I would stay here again and I would recommend our friends and family to stay at this condo.

Recommended for: Families with Young Children, Sightseeing, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Adventure Seekers, Age 55+, Romantic Getaway, Families with Teenagers.

Victoria is a great city to visit and staying at this condo made it even better! We probably didn't need as much room as we did for just the two of us, but really liked having the space. From the master bedroom is a lovely view of the Empress on the Inner Harbour that we looked at every day. We like to cook so were happy all the utensils were there that we needed. We come to Victoria every other year so would happily stay here again
