Cancellation Policy
If you would like to confirm the stay, it will require a $500 deposit for 1 and 2-bedroom apartments or $1000 for 3 bedrooms or more, which will then be applied as the damage deposit. Upon check-out, the damage deposit will be refunded within 14 business days if no damage has occurred to the unit. If there is damage to the unit, you will be notified via email.
Your stay is fully refundable if cancelled before 30 days of arrival, with a $175.00 administrative fee. The balance of your deposit will be refunded via e-transfer to a Canadian Bank Account or to the same credit card on file. Please note there is a 4.75% credit card surcharge applicable if your refund is to a credit card.
If you need to cancel, the non-refundable period starts when you are within 30 days of your check-in date. Date changes are free, subject to availability and any differing rates. Monthly rent payments are due 30 days ahead of the upcoming month. Any cancellations need to be made in writing and sent to stay@checkedinvictoria.com.
Additional Terms and House Rules:
1. A license to occupy agreement is mandatory to be signed as soon as the reservation is confirmed.
2. A Damage Deposit is required to be paid once the reservation is confirmed. It is refundable upon checkout if no damage has occurred to the unit/house.
3. If your stay is more than 30 days, there will a mid-stay cleaning fee added after every 30 days.
4. Please note you must be 25 years or older to make a reservation.
5. All our properties have a $500 bylaw fine for smoking within the unit and the building. This includes vaping and marijuana.
